Job Introduction
We currently have a fantastic technical leadership opportunity.
We are looking to recruit Technical Services Director to provide leadership and strategy to ensure technical services are delivered to an exceptional standard, in a cost effective and safe way. You’ll effectively lead Engineering teams in the South to ensure efficient service delivery and build strong client relationships within a high profile pharmaceutical contract.
Main Responsibilities
Provide strategic technical leadership to the European region in order to deliver significant business growth and profitability
Establish and effectively lead highly capable in area (South) technical services teams who will deliver against the strategic objectives for the contract
Implement and maintain business improvement and process improvement into all areas of technical services across the region
Provide thought leadership on all technical services and guidance to the region as the subject matter expert
Provide technical direction and expertise to the operating region by promoting Sodexo strategies (AMF etc) and service offers
Ensure statutory compliance for technical services across the portfolio
Actively work across the region with Operations Directors as part of UK Technical Team
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in a similar role senior leadership role
Chartered Engineer or similar accountable experience
Experience of having operated successfully at a senior technical level within an outsourced B2B environment
Experience of working in critical environments ideally with experience in Pharmaceuticals or FMCG, manufacturing and data centres
Data Centre management experience
Demonstrable track record of developing successful operational strategies across a broad portfolio
Exceptional client relationship management skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Development of commercially viable solutions based on rigorous techniques to understand client needs and price products/services accordingly
Proven financial acumen essential with commercial experience and business acumen
Proven experience of developing profitable relationships with clients
