One of our clients are currently looking to recruit for the following position:

Job title: Service/Site Manager (Facilities Management)

Location: British Army HQ, Andover

Employment type: Temporary to permanent contract (After circa 3 months through agency)

Pay rate/Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum (initially paid through agency on an hourly rate) – able to also initially pay via either your own Ltd Company, an Umbrella Company or CIS

Hours: 40 per week – but needs to be flexible

Managing a team of Maintenance staff , Tradesmen, contractors, Administrators and Supervisors and a high volume work load
In charge of delegating work to the onsite team of staff and contractors / external contractors
Meeting with Army representatives to discuss and inform of any and all needs/requirements
Carrying out site safety inspections and risk assessments
Responsible for efficiently organising and reacting to any unscheduled issues or breakdowns
Responsible for organising and managing planned preventative maintenance job schedules
Health and Safety, Operation and Management, Contractor meetings
In charge of communicating and coordinating with offsite contractors/ companies
Weekly tool box talks
Responsible for ordering parts, equipment and machinery
Raising and Completing the supporting financial documentation (purchase orders, invoices)
Raising/Initiating jobs
Ensuring jobs are completed on time and to priority and satisfaction
Completing the supporting paperwork (risk assessments, PPE)
Database maintenance
Managing personnel files/ Annual leave/ Work training.
Carrying out personnel duties (disciplinary, informal discussions, job chats)
Created a strong rapport with management and trade team, as well as Army Personnel.
Must have:
Excellent communication skills (will be liasing with managers at all levels along with sub-contractors and operatives)
Must be organized
Must have good leadership qualities
Must be process driven
Must have excellent IT skills
