Our client Has a need for an experienced Project manager, who will have an extensive background within the water industry. Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, the role will require you to manage projects to contractual obligations, project deadlines, budgets, and gross margin expectations.
Project managers manage all financial aspects, so as to meet all project profit levels.
To manage the whole process, from the award of the contract to Handing over to the client acceptance.
Analyse resource performance and direction of sub-contractors and vendors.
To negotiate any changes within the contract and to agree to these changes with the client.
Plan and agree resources to be used on projects with the relevant Managers.
To effect project planning, review, cost control, change control, hand-over and acceptance procedures to meet the terms of the contract.
Authorise the placement of order, and ensure that applications for payment are correctly administered.
Ensuring That you adhere to Company policies, and strict guidelines, including SHEQ procedures.
The technical and financial performance of projects managed.
The quality of client relationship during the projects undertaken.
Two way communication, for project progress, early warning signs, and any problems which occur.
Cost effective utilisation of resources, purchasing costs, and sub contractors.
