Job Title: Facilities Technician (Full job description is available upon request)
Location of work: Segensworth, Fareham
Contract type: Temporary cover for 3 months
Hourly rate: £13.50 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 08:30 16:30 inclusive of 30 minute lunch break)
Qualifications: No specific qualifications required but Ideally PAT testing qualification (Portable appliance testing City and Guilds 2377) but this is not essential
Transport and driving licence required: Yes due to location and job role duties
To provide a range of support and Facilities services across our clients Distribution (Segensworth) sites. Predominantly the role will deal with day to day service desk tasks and assisting with carrying out regular Facilities equipment testing including Fire Alarm, Sprinklers, Back-up generators and Emergency lighting. Some Planned Preventative Maintenance duties are included for cleaning of the Pool Car, door access equipment, CCTV equipment, and roof gutters and also changing of air handling unit filters.
You would also be required to carry out general support tasks in order to ensure all Facilities equipment and ancillaries are maintained effectively and all breakdowns and repairs are carried out efficiently with assistance of Facilities and Maintenance staff or external contractors. The role will also be responsible for carrying out internal building inspections and car park patrols
