We currently have a great opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join our clients Property Care Team to work in the Poole Area.
You’ll complete Electrical repairs and maintenance packages to our clients companies and other housing associations, local authorities, schools and private landlords within occupied and void properties.
RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY DUTIES:
All aspects of electrical installation works of both 230v and 400v in domestic situations
Diagnose and repair faults and complete final tests
Chase out and form holes as necessary to accommodate wiring and box fittings and further make good by render or plaster to an acceptable standard.
Test and inspect IEE Wiring regulations
Test portable and fixed appliances for electrical safety
Act as an onsite team leader leading junior staff
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
You’ll need to hold a City and Guilds 236 (parts 1, 2 & 3), City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installations, 2382 (17th Edition) and 2391 or 2392 or 2394/2395 (inspection and testing) and have demonstrable experience in Electrical works. A current CSCS card is also desirable.
Experience of working in the construction trade, ideally in and around occupied properties is essential along with a good understanding of Health and Safety practices.
You’ll be IT literate with the ability to use mobile technology such as iPad or PDA with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
This is a full time role, working 40 Hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through call out and overtime when required. A van, tool allowance, iPad, uniform and PPE will also be provided along with great benefits including 25 days paid holiday and a £450 flexible benefit pot.
Due to the requirement to travel within this role, you must hold a full and current driving licence that is acceptable to our insurers and have the ability to drive a company van.
